Anant Kumar - Founder & CEO

Anant Kumar founded Life Circle Health Services with a mission to make professional home care accessible, affordable, and dignified for India’s ageing population. His inspiration came from personal experience after his mother’s surgery; he faced firsthand the struggle of finding reliable and compassionate care at home.

Before establishing Life Circle, Anant founded LifeSpring Hospitals, a pioneering network of maternity hospitals serving India’s working poor. The initiative became a global model for inclusive healthcare delivery and was recognised with prestigious honours such as the UN World Business and Development Award and Frost & Sullivan’s Mother and Child Healthcare Provider of the Year.

During this period, Anant was also invited to share insights on social entrepreneurship and inclusive business at a leadership roundtable with U.S. President Barack Obama, covered by The Times of India. This recognition reflected his growing influence in shaping innovative healthcare models that combine impact, sustainability, and scalability.

TED India Fellow, Anant has been recognised internationally for leveraging entrepreneurship to address public health and social challenges. As part of the fellowship, he engaged with innovators and changemakers across disciplines, sharing insights on how scalable, sustainable models can transform healthcare access in emerging economies.

Earlier in his career, Anant contributed to several national and global initiatives on healthcare system strengthening. He served on the CII Seniorcare Taskforce and participated in expert groups with the World Health Organisation (WHO), USAID, and the European Union (EU), focusing on building sustainable workforce and policy frameworks for health access in India.

At Life Circle, Anant leads the organisation’s growth strategy from scaling operations across cities to integrating technology through India’s largest home care mobile platform. His leadership continues to balance operational excellence with empathy, placing caregivers and families at the heart of the company’s mission.

Priya Anant - Co-Founder & Chief Customer Officer

Priya Anant co-founded Life Circle Health Services with a deep conviction that quality home care must combine professional excellence with human compassion. She leads the company’s healthcare quality, caregiver training, and customer experience functions, ensuring that every family receives consistent, respectful, and evidence-based care at home.

With over two decades of experience in healthcare operations, social enterprise management, and development sector leadership, Priya brings a rare blend of strategic vision and ground-level understanding. She has previously held senior roles at ACCESS Health International, where she oversaw program implementation and partnerships in health systems strengthening, and at the Byrraju Foundation, where she contributed to rural health and livelihood programs.

Earlier in her career, Priya worked with the World Bank and the Government of Andhra Pradesh, where she helped design and implement the Urban Slum Health Care Project, a pioneering primary healthcare initiative for underserved urban communities.

At Life Circle, Priya plays a key role in shaping training programs that empower caregivers, particularly women, with the skills and confidence to deliver high-quality home care. Her focus on empathy, safety, and continuous learning has helped Life Circle build one of India’s most trusted caregiving workforces.

She is also an active contributor to professional forums, universities, and conferences on geriatric and palliative care, sharing Life Circle’s learnings with the wider ecosystem to strengthen India’s eldercare landscape.

Atul Kumar - Board Member

Atul Kumar brings over two decades of legal, regulatory, and corporate advisory experience to Life Circle’s Board. As an Advocate-on-Record with the Supreme Court of India and a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales, he provides strategic counsel on governance, compliance, and organisational risk management.

Atul has advised a diverse portfolio of domestic and multinational clients across sectors on matters of litigation, arbitration, dispute resolution, foreign investment, insurance laws, and employment regulations. His expertise in navigating complex legal frameworks supports Life Circle’s vision of building a transparent and compliant healthcare ecosystem.

Currently, he serves as a Partner at Indus Law Associates, leading engagements in corporate legal advisory and arbitration. He has previously held senior positions at SRGR Law Offices, Associated Law Advisers, and Fox Mandal & Associates, where he managed multidisciplinary teams and high-value cases across India.

François Comet - Board Member

François Comet brings over three decades of international leadership experience across telecommunications, social enterprise, and public administration to Life Circle’s Board. His global career reflects a deep commitment to innovation, inclusion, and sustainable development are values that align closely with Life Circle’s mission of building a professional and equitable eldercare ecosystem in India.

A graduate of École Polytechnique, Télécom Paris, and the Institut d’Études Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po), François began his career at France Télécom and Telecom Argentina, where he held senior leadership roles in strategy, innovation, and international development. He went on to serve as Vice President of Strategy and Convergence at Orange, later becoming Deputy to the Chief Regulatory Officer and Chairman of GSMA Europe (2013–2014), representing the continent’s leading mobile operators.

From 2014 to 2019, François served as Vice President for International Development at GROUPE SOS, Europe’s largest social enterprise network. In this capacity, he supported initiatives in health, education, social inclusion, and ageing, helping extend the organization’s impact to over a million beneficiaries annually.

Alongside his corporate and social enterprise work, François is an elected Councillor in Paris (6th arrondissement) and President of the Odéon neighbourhood council. He is also an author and writer, with published works including “La Chute du Louvre” and “Le Petit Projet”.

Suraj Prakash Velamuri - National Head – Home Care Business

Suraj Prakash Velamuri leads Life Circle’s nationwide home care operations, bringing over 22 years of experience in healthcare sales, marketing, and business management. His expertise in market expansion, channel development, and team leadership strengthens Life Circle’s mission to deliver professional, accessible, and compassionate home healthcare across India.

Before joining Life Circle, Suraj held leadership positions in prominent healthcare organisations, including Yashoda Hospitals and Cipla, where he consistently achieved growth milestones and earned multiple performance awards. At Cipla, he played a key role in building respiratory care portfolios across Andhra Pradesh, mentoring teams, and implementing innovative market development programs. His strategic leadership at Yashoda Hospitals helped expand the network’s outreach across multiple districts through physician engagement and structured marketing initiatives.

Suraj’s operational and commercial insight is complemented by his deep understanding of patient needs and healthcare systems, enabling Life Circle to continuously improve quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.

Sarath Kumar Naidu Gali - Business Head

zSarath Kumar Naidu Gali leads Life Circle’s South-West operations, driving service excellence, team performance, and client satisfaction across all home healthcare verticals. With over 18 years of experience in physiotherapy, rehabilitation, and healthcare management, Sarath plays a central role in translating Life Circle’s mission into high-quality, compassionate care delivery for seniors and patients.

Before joining Life Circle in 2022, Sarath served as Rehabilitation Manager at HCAH Nightingales, where he oversaw physiotherapy programs and multidisciplinary teams across major Indian cities. Earlier, as Head of Physiotherapy at KIMS Super Speciality Hospital, he managed patient rehabilitation protocols and clinical operations for five years.

Sarath began his career at Kamineni Hospitals, Hyderabad, where he gained extensive hands-on experience in patient recovery and chronic care. His clinical foundation and operational leadership help ensure that Life Circle’s services consistently meet both professional standards and family expectations.

Heemanshu Sharma - Business Head

Heemanshu Sharma leads Life Circle’s operations across the Delhi-NCR region and spearheads strategic partnerships that strengthen the company’s healthcare delivery and market presence. With over a decade of experience across healthcare, fertility, and customer engagement sectors, he brings a results-driven approach to expanding Life Circle’s reach and deepening its relationships with hospitals, corporate partners, and care networks.

Before joining Life Circle, Heemanshu served in leadership roles at Crysta IVF, where he managed multiple city operations, optimizing patient experience and center performance across India. As City Manager and later Center Manager, he led multidisciplinary teams, streamlined operational workflows, and built strong partnerships with clinicians and referring organizations.

His earlier career includes roles at OVO Health, Buck for India Pvt. Ltd., and HomeShop18, where he honed his expertise in customer relations, process management, and business development, capabilities that now support Life Circle’s mission to make high-quality home healthcare accessible and reliable.

Dr. Nidhi Mishra - Advisor – Geriatric Psychology & Active Ageing
Associate Professor & Head, Department of Applied Psychology, GITAM (Deemed to be University)

Dr. Nidhi Mishra serves as an advisor to Life Circle Health Services, guiding the organization’s initiatives on geriatric psychology, mental wellness, and active ageing. A leading voice in psycho-social gerontology, she brings over 15 years of academic and field experience in understanding the emotional and psychological needs of India’s ageing population.

Dr. Mishra is currently the Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Applied Psychology at GITAM (Deemed to be University). Prior to this, she founded Senior Express — a pioneering initiative that celebrates senior citizens’ contributions and promotes intergenerational understanding through workshops and storytelling.

Her doctoral research in Psycho-Social Gerontology explored the intersection of ageing, identity, and well-being, and she has contributed to numerous national and international research projects focused on ageing, inclusivity, and social welfare.

Dr. Mishra represented India at the United Nations International Programme in Policy Formulation, Planning, Implementation, and Monitoring of the Madrid International Plan of Action on Ageing (Malta, 2013), a recognition of her thought leadership in ageing policy and advocacy.

She has previously served as a Consultant to the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), designing community-based ageing programs and capacity-building models. Dr. Mishra is also an active member of the Association of Gerontology (India) and the Indian Association for Social Sciences and Health.
